WTVO/WQRF - An Air Algerie flight that disappeared from radar early Thursday crashed in eastern Mali. ROCKFORD -- A Rockford man is under arrest after a string of burglaries. 25 year old Nathan Lucas has been charged with three counts of residential buglary and two counts of possession of stolen property. Police believe Lucas is behind a series of home burglaries in the Rockford area. Lucas is being held in the Winnebago County Jail.
BELVIDERE - A year long investigation lands a Boone County woman in jail on homicide charges. Police arrested 46-year-old Debra Schlaiss at her Poplar Grove home, Wednesday.
